The intent of my Blog is to service Alabama K-12 science teachers by conducting
a professional development workshop entitled, “Let’s Create a BLOG:
Communicating, Collaborating and Creating for the Science Classroom”. Using the web tool, Blogger, this workshop
will teach science teachers how to create a blog as an opportunity for
communication and collaboration in the science classroom. The Unit for this assignment is General Lab
Safety.
Teachers
will be asked to create a Blog that will allow students to discuss, share and
reflect their experience with the assignment(s) on General Lab Safety with the
entire class or individually by responding/making comments to the following
post:
Reflecting
on your lab assignments, what lab safety precautions did you find necessary to
implement and how has this implementation benefited your safety awareness and
knowledge?
Very nice, professional blogsite! It reminds me of my best friend, Mary Henry. She used to teach AP Biology & Anatomy/Physiology and was a stickler for safety. She, like your blog, was very straight-forward and no-nonsense. Must be the science teacher trait, right?
