We BLOG for Alabama K-12 Science Teachers

The intent of my Blog is to service Alabama K-12 science teachers by conducting a professional development workshop entitled, “Let’s Create a BLOG:  Communicating, Collaborating and Creating for the Science Classroom”.  Using the web tool, Blogger, this workshop will teach science teachers how to create a blog as an opportunity for communication and collaboration in the science classroom.  The Unit for this assignment is General Lab Safety.

Teachers will be asked to create a Blog that will allow students to discuss, share and reflect their experience with the assignment(s) on General Lab Safety with the entire class or individually by responding/making comments to the following post:

Reflecting on your lab assignments, what lab safety precautions did you find necessary to implement and how has this implementation benefited your safety awareness and knowledge?
